In a significant stride for Kayseri-based Wide Game Studio, the company has successfully raised $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The funding was led by Kültepe Yatırım and included participation from prominent angel investors, namely Fatih Şahin and Vedat Çavuşoğlu.

Established in 2019, Wide Game Studio has been at the forefront of virtual reality (VR) game development, showcasing innovation and versatility in its projects. Co-founded by Ahmed Demirezen and Ramazan Mert Ural, the studio embarked on its journey with a unique approach to VR gaming.

The team at Wide Game Studio has dedicated extensive efforts to create notable projects such as Project: Pseudowar. Additionally, during the pandemic, the studio developed applications like VR School and VR Meeting, highlighting its adaptability and versatility in crafting diverse VR content.

The recent $1.2 million pre-seed investment represents a significant milestone for Wide Game Studio. With the backing of Kültepe Yatırım and angel investors, the studio is gearing up to launch HEX’O’CURA, a highly anticipated game poised to make waves in the VR gaming world.

Ramazan Mert Ural, Co-founder of Wide Game Studio, expressed confidence in the impact of their upcoming game: “This investment is a crucial milestone in achieving our company’s growth goals. This marks the third investment by Kültepe Yatırım in Kayseri, underscoring their commitment to fostering growth in the virtual reality industry. Ulukaya celebrated Wide Game Studio’s achievements, expressing anticipation for future collaborations and the exciting journey ahead in the virtual reality realm.
